"Matter"  delves into the relationship between an organism and the technological landscape it navigates. An intricate dance between the biological and mechanical, the organism’s journey begins in the “primordial soup” as its form fuses water currents and spiral patterns inherent in the human body. Reflecting on contemporary society’s dependence on daily devices and machines, the organism must “consume” these devices for sustenance in this surreal landscape, serving as a metaphor for our perpetual reliance on technology. The fusion of 2D mark-making and 3D rendering also touches on the fluid boundaries between the natural and the artificial, contemplating our place within the interconnected currents of contemporary society.
